SHOPPING FOR SHOES GOOD FOR HEALTH...here's proof!

According to a British study, the rise in heart rate that women experience when they buy shoes is good for their health. The thrill of seeing and acquiring a pair of shoes can send a woman's heart racing up to 120 beats per minute, i.e. around 50 more than the normal rate. This is the same level reached by a woman who performs a 5-minute session at the gym.

The study also reveals that this rise only occurs with the purchase of shoes, buying new clothes or bags generates only a 10% rise in heart beats. According to Linda Papadopoulos the psychologist who managed this study, one quarter of women feel more confident when they wear high heels and one third of women choose their shoes before looking for the dress to go with. For most women, buying shoes is an activity they appreciate and half of them enjoy shopping in small groups.
