Bottletree Park

Welcome to Bottletree Park at ulu Yishun. This place is really quite cool. Named after the tree i think. There's quite a bit to do in this small place actually, mostly of the fishing type. There was this big big lotus pond and you can ride on this' swan thing'. Then there was this pond I thought was a wishing well, except that there were huge fishes in it of more than a metre long each. They looked really evil..haha.

The restaurant looked quite interesting for BBQ or if you want, can catch and cook your own prawns. Those with kids can fish in their little rocky pond catching guppies.

Well, so there, perfect for the Singaporean family on a budget looking for stuff to do. This place is so un-Singaporean, until you look across the pond and catch a glimpse of the MRT track, a stark reminder that you're after all, in Singapore.
