Visited some nurseries last week. The weather was so darn hot that I got an ugly tan just frolicking among the plants! This pic shows some of the lovely plants that are now my very own just outside my balcony. I hope I don't kill them again. Never had green fingers; even cacti wither and die under my care.
At first glance you will be forgiven for thinking these are condoms with strings attached to them, hanging out to dry and reuse!!! lol! Anyway these are pitcher plants and the weird contraptions trap unsuspecting insects attracted to the sweet scent lingering in the air. I looked inside hoping to find some victims but they were empty. Actually it's a bit sick, the whole concept of plant-eating-animals.
